Krzysztof Szczypiorski [kʂɨʂtɔf ʃʧɨ'pʲɔrski] holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in telecommunications (both with honours) from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland. His D.Sc. (habilitation) thesis entitled "Network Steganography" is currently under review.

Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Networks and Switching, Institute of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology.

Krzysztof Szczypiorski is a research leader and a founder of Network Security Group at WUT (secgroup.pl) and stegano.net project. He is the author or the co-author of 140+ publications including 90+ papers and 50+ invited talks. He is the inventor of 3 patents and pending applications. For almost 20 years he also serves as the independent consultant in fields of network security and telecommunications.

He is the organizer of many original scientific events including IWNS (International Workshop on Network Steganography) and IWDF (International Workshop on Digital Forensics).

Krzysztof Szczypiorski is a founder and a head of ITU Internet Training Centre at Warsaw University of Technology, which contains Cisco Regional Academy. He is a Cisco certified instructor for CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security and Wireless.
